Laboratory Tests are very important in helping doctors to make diagnoses and monitor the progress of a patient’s conditions. When your doctor orders a lab test for you, the sample is sent to us for processing and analysis.
All tests that come in to CML are for diagnostic purposes; reports are sent directly to the requesting physician, who will then make a diagnosis based on the results. All patients’ information is kept strictly confidential. Depending on what type of test you do, your samples will be sent to first to our Central Processing Unit, then to one of our five testing departments: Chemistry, Bacteriology, Haematology, Endocrinology or Immunology.

In addition to its routine daily service Central Medical Laboratories Limited provides house call services, and laboratory services to the Veterinary community. Central Medical Laboratories Limited is also engaged in Public Education through patient information leaflets, radio programmes, involvement in Health Fairs, and Community Projects.
CML has a state-of-art computerized Laboratory Information System that facilitates easy tracking of specimens and provides rapid and accurate reporting of results. It also has the capability to retrieve patient files in seconds, thus allowing comparison of results over time. Through its auto fax capabilities, reports can be faxed directly from the laboratory to the requesting physicians.
